Using your inbox as a to-do list is unwise — for the reason/s you mention, especially with a snooze option.

Instead, you should consider finding a task management platform better than Google’s Tasks, such as Todoist. TickTick is another option, which permits users to forward email to your account and file it accordingly.

Email should never be read more than twice.
